Q: What are EMES essential oils made of? 

Our prestigious essential oils are made of the highest quality extract producing 100% pure essential oil. EMES strictly adheres to the guidelines of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). Based in Geneva, Switzerland, and founded in 1973, the IFRA is the official, self-regulatory representative body of the fragrance industry worldwide. It ensures the safety of fragrance materials through a dedicated science program. As you receive new products, the fragrance may, but rarely, change slightly from a previous purchase. Our oils are hypoallergenic, safe for topical and diffuser use. 

Q: Can I buy a subscription as a gift?

Yes! Just click on "Send a Gift" and supply us with the appropriate information.

Q: I’d like to buy gift subscriptions for all my employees. How can I buy subscriptions in bulk?

What an excellent idea! Contact us and we can help you with the bulk order.

Q: Which scents are unisex?

We have many unisex fragrances. Type in Unisex in the search bar for all our Unisex fragrances.

Q: Can I purchase a specific style/color bottle and label for amenity gifts/gift baskets for corporate events, weddings, or hotels?

Yes! We have the flexibility based on quantity ordered to customize the color of our bottles including modifying our labels.  This is popular with our hotel amenity baskets and our corporate events and conferences. 

Q: Does EMES private label?

We have many requests to private label our fragrances. Please contact us for more information.

Q: Are your fragrances allergy tested?

Our lab testing removes all hazards and allergens from the fragrances. We carefully follow the regulations of the IFRA. Our oils are hypoallergenic, safe for topical and diffuser use. 

Q: What happens if I don't like the fragrance I received?

We will happily send you a different fragrance. If you’re unhappy with a product, just get in touch with us. We guarantee your satisfaction. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the Fragrances of the Month Club.

Q: When do I receive the Fragrance from the Month Club?

Our fragrances are mailed on the 15th of each month. If you sign up by the 10th, your products will be mailed on the 15th. If you sign up after the 10th, your fragrances will be mailed on the 15th of the following month.

Q: When will my credit card be charged for the Month Club?

For the monthly plan, we charge your card on the 5th of each month. When you start a new membership with the monthly plan, the first month will be charged on the day you sign up.

Q: Can I subscribe outside of the United States?

At the moment, only US customers can subscribe, but we expect to expand to Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Q: How do you guarantee the security of my credit card information?

We use Shopify for our subscription billing. With Shopify, your information is securely stored in their PCI-compliant system. Your credit card numbers never touch our servers.

Q: How can I cancel my subscription?

We’re sorry to lose you as a customer. Just contact us and we’ll cancel the subscription for you.

Q: When will I receive my delivery?

We know you want these goods quickly - so we do everything we can to make sure that we send out the goods within 1 business day of accepting your order:

Delivery Times to North America:  2-4 business days.

Delivery Times outside North America: 8-12 business days
